Good spell

The Gospel

When you hear the word “gospel,” what comes to your mind?

It's a question I ask often. Sadly, I rarely get a good answer.

I say sadly, not to blame the everyday person I ask. I say sad because Christians have largely failed in getting across the most important thing.

Gospel is an Old English word from “good spell,” which meant “good news.” The gospel is therefore the good news about Jesus.

What is the good news? I have a whole article dedicated to answering that question.

You should read that page. And if it touches you, consider sharing it with someone else.
